East Vancouver coffee shop Engagement Session

I met Jackie & Jorge back in 2019, when they were planning their April 12, 2020 wedding. ? I think you can probably guess how that plan unfolded. We all assumed this whole Covid thing would blow over in a couple months, so their backup wedding was planned for fall 2020. Once again, that wasn’t able to happen. They eventually rescheduled their wedding for a third date another year later, but in the meantime real life was clipping along regardless. So, by the eventual wedding date, these two had moved to Montreal and Jackie was 4 months pregnant!

Long story short, here’s their engagement session that we shot while they were back in Vancouver, only a few days before the wedding. Coffee & donuts at 49th Parallel, murals, and a chill photo wander around their old neighbourhood. It was so nice to have a no-pressure shoot & chat with two fabulous people who by this point had become friends.
