What a November it’s been! People are clearly making up for lost time with events, and I’ve been lucky enough to be swamped with them. From outdoor holiday concerts, to awards nights, to bundled up family sessions during the rainiest month on record...it’s been an adventure! Off to shoot a fundraiser to support the awesome @mycckitchen today, then wrapping up the year next week with another holiday event and a wedding! Phew! It’s been such a busy summer (especially compared to 2020) that I haven’t had time to share all the lovely people I’ve been spending my weekends with! Jody & Richard got married on one of the hottest days of the year, but took the extreme heat in stride and had a great time with their closest people. They switched venues to @cecilgreenparkhouse so they could safely hold the event outdoors, and followed it up with a chill group hangout at the beach. 🏖 These two have been such absolutely gems to work with, ever since we met for coffee in early 2020, not knowing how quickly things were about to change. I’m so thrilled to see couples still having the weddings they’d hoped for, even with alterations. So true! These two had such a Covid wedding planning roller coaster. They were my first cancellation, because their wedding was scheduled for April 2020. It wasn’t able to happen (obviously) but also couldn’t be rescheduled because Jorge’s family is all in Mexico and who knew when borders would open up again. Now here we are August 2021 and they’re having a super small elopement tomorrow at @chambar_restaurant with a few friends, and luckily I get to be there for it too. What a fun drizzly morning we had yesterday, exploring the @vanmuralfest during the few days they’re in town. And of course we had to stop at @49th Parallel Coffee, the location of their first date. So much laughing...these two made my job easy. So excited for their official ceremony to finally happen! ❤️
