Salt Spring Island Family Time

As I mentioned in my previous post, I managed to get away with the family for a little much needed R&R. I had never been to Salt Spring Island before, and I fell in love instantly. So many great independent shops, fresh organic produce galore, a gorgeous waterfront, and an endless supply of mossy trails to wander. Take a look:

Once again the big zoom lens comes in handy. This little one’s not quite sure what to think of me.

I’m not sure what she was pointing to here, but she sure is excited about it!

A visit to the Moonstruck Organic Cheese company farm.

And, stumbling upon this couldn’t have been more exciting for me. As a kid I always searched and searched the dollar stores for some sort of ridiculous keychain or magnet with my name on it, but to no avail. Finally my day has come. And it was a fantastic little place with great coffee and the most unbelievable lemon poppyseed bread.

I made a copy of this photo to hang in my kitchen.

As a joke, unfortunately.
